Spinal Problems including Back Pain / Sciatica / Prolapsed Discs / Degeneration / Neck Pain

There are many reasons for back and neck pain and therefore it is extremely important that a thorough and proper examination is carried out in order to establish the cause of the pain. Once such examination has been carried out by one of our Clinicians, clients will be provided with an individually tailored treatment programme together with advice in order to both tackle the underlying cause of the pain and prevent further reoccurrences.

Physiotherapists and Osteopaths have an excellent and proven track record in treating this condition due to extensive training, evidence based research and a close working relationship with Orthopaedic Consultants/Spinal Surgeons.

The Clinic also has the benefit of an Orthopaedic Practitioner, who has worked alongside Orthopaedic and Spinal Consultants, and specialises in the treatment of spinal and upper limb conditions.

Treatment techniques which the Clinic specialises in to treat neck and back pain include:

  • Intra-Muscular Stimulation (IMS)
  • Acupuncture and Trigger Point Therapy
  • Joint and Soft Tissue Manipulations and Mobilisation

Shoulder Problems

The Clinic offers specialist expertise in treating shoulder conditions including Frozen Shoulder, Shoulder Impingement, Shoulder Dislocation and Rotator Cuff Injuries. We also work closely with Consultants who specialise in this area. Our Clinic has the benefit of an On-Site Diagnostic Ultrasound Scanner which is used as an essential part of both diagnosing shoulder conditions and monitoring recovery as standard examination procedures do not always provide sufficient detail. Specialist facilities and treatment techniques offered by our Clinic in respect of shoulder problems include:

  • On-Site Diagnostic Ultrasound Scanner
  • Muscle Reconditioning and Post Operative Rehabilitation
